We are delighted to invite you to join us for a momentous occasion – the 50th anniversary celebration of Wright Institute Los Angeles! Since our inception in 1974, WILA has been dedicated to transforming lives through low-fee psychotherapy, high-quality psychoanalytic education, and community outreach and advocacy. Keeping WILA alive for 50 years is quite an accomplishment, one that wouldn’t have been possible without you. We can’t wait to celebrate together!

In addition to celebrating 50 years of service to the community, we’re excited to honor the hard work of our committed Executive Director, Dr. Michele Gomes. Michele has been a tireless champion of WILA’s mission since becoming WILA’s Clinical Director in 2011 and Executive Director in 2016. As Allen Yasser, WILA’s Director Emeritus says, “WILA under Michele’s leadership has become bigger, better, and a lot more fun!” If you’ve had the pleasure of being taught, supervised, or otherwise influenced by Michele’s leadership, we hope you’ll join us in our celebration!
WILA continues to value the health and safety of our community, especially when gathering in large groups. Feel free to wear a mask if you prefer, we will also have some on hand at the entrance.
